Would you like to learn a new skill? On this course you will learn to create a sterling silver ring, pendant and earrings. You will cover the basics of jewellery making - hand piercing with a small jewellery saw, forming with hammers and mandrels, adding texture with a Rolling Mill, annealing and soldering, along with filing and polishing. You can personalise your pieces with hand stamping. The course includes the cost of materials for a ring, simple pendant and a couple of earring sets. Additional silver can be bought if you wish to design and make something of your own choice. Refreshments are included.
First Session - Introduction to tools - adding texture. ring making
Second Session - Soldering skills / Filing & Polishing ring.
Third Session- -Hand piercing / shaping making pendant/earrings
Fourth Session - Finishing items
Places are limited to 3 people per course. If there is a group of you booking - I can be flexible with timings of the course.
